“I would certainly buy ECplus again: it is all about increasing margins”

Johann Kühl runs a pork farm together with his daughter Janine. On 2 locations in Northern Germany, they house 2.200 fattening pigs. In the newest barn, 768 pigs are housed in 6 compartments of 128 animals each. In February 2015, Johann installed the Multifan Tube Fan with ECplus in this barn, having designed the barn himself: “We have to work in an efficient and straightforward way. In co-operation with the local Multifan dealer, he regularly performs climate tests. “When using the newest state-of-the-art equipment, we stay on top of the developments and, in addition, we are able to save money”, says Johann.

“The margins in the pork market are currently extremely low, so we are constantly looking at ways to increase these. “We have a long lasting relationship with the dealer and consider Multifan as a trustworthy brand. For more than 30 years we never ever had complaints”, Johann Kühl explains. “For simplicity reasons, we prefer all the control equipment on one location in the central alley of the pork house. Since the Multifan ECplus Tube Fan is installed very close to the alley, we were able to realise this centralisation”. Johann continues: “I can clearly state: I would certainly buy ECplus again!”.
