With our vertical circulation fan, the V-FloFan, we offer the grower the opportunity to reduce the negative impacts of humidity in grow rooms and greenhouses, in a simple and energy efficient way. The vertical airflow of the V-FloFan results in an optimal uniform microclimate on plant level.

A professional cannabis grower in the USA explains it as follows: “Good air circulation in cannabis production spaces reduces diseases and increases crop uniformity. Proper use of fans results in gentle mixing of the air around the crop to eliminate disease-promoting areas of high humidity and help to promote strong transpiration. The Multifan V-FloFan circulates the air from top to bottom in the greenhouse, giving us great results.“

Horizontal ventilation solutions for professional cannabis greenhouses
For greenhouses with a large temperature and/or humidity variation, a horizontal circulation fan could be a good solution to create a more uniform indoor climate. This horizontal circulation fan mixes the air faster compared to the V-FloFan, but has a little less effect at the root level. The V-FloFan and circulation fans are not suitable to be used together.

We asked Miles Perryman, Sales Manager at Fullbloom about his experience with Vostermans as a supplier and Fullbloom’s use of Multifan exhaust fans in their projects.

For three new cannabis greenhouses at Wildcreek Farms, Fullbloom included Multifan Fiberglass Cone Fans. The installation of the fans was part of the customer’s requirements for year round cultivation in various weather conditions.

Miles explains: “The project was in Trinity, California, where they receive 4-5 ft. of snow each year. We provided them with 3 of our 35’x126’ Guardian light dep greenhouses and all equipment for year round production. We provided (2) Vostermans 54” High Volume Fiberglass cone fans per greenhouse because of the efficiency and robust CFM output. The customer also wanted to minimize the noise factor and these fans fit the bill.”
